In 2012 I launched HubSpot’s expansion into Latin America and Brazil. Our efforts in these markets centers around a mix of partner channel management and direct enterprise sales.
Originally a one-man effort for two years, I became Team Leader in 2014 when we added two account managers (IMSs) and one business development representative (BDR). In 2015 I was formally promoted to Sales Manager and commenced growing out the Latin America & Brazil teams.
2015 was a year of exponential growth:
– the team accomplished 127% of its sales quota
– we grew net new sales by 75% YoY
– we grew our install base 113% YoY
Since 2012 I have been spearheading HubSpot’s expansion into Latin America and Brazil, my primary focus being to develop HubSpot’s go-to-market strategy in these markets. Our execution consists of both channel sales and direct sales, and I directly manage four teams:
– Spanish LatAm Direct Sales
– Spanish LatAm Partner Channel Sales
– Brazil Direct Sales
– Brazil Partner Channel Sales
